Visa 187 Business Plan
We Are The Best Professional Business Plan Consultant in Australia
The Regional Sponsor Migration Scheme Visa (subclass 187) is designed for skilled workers eligible to be nominated by their Australian employer. They can live and work in Australia indefinitely.
There used to be two streams under subclass 187. Direct Entry and Temporary Residence Transition Stream. However, in November 2019, the Direct Entry Stream was closed and replaced by the Skilled Employer-Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 494).
What is the Temporary Residence Transition Stream?
This visa stream temporarily allows the skilled workers living in Australia on subclass 457 or subclass 482 to be nominated by their employer in regional Australia so that they can live and work here permanently. With this visa, they can sponsor eligible family members to come and apply for Australian citizenship when eligible.
What makes them eligible?
- Have the skills and qualifications needed to do the tasks of the nominated occupation.
- Get nominated by the employer who sponsored their temporary work visa subclass 457 or 482 visas for at least 3 of the 4 years before being nominated for the subclass 187 visa.
- Must be under 45 years of age when applying
- Be the primary visa holder of subclass 457, 482, or bridging visas A, B, or C.
- Meet the health and character requirements.
- Competent in English
- No outstanding debts with the Australian Government.
How does a business plan help in support of the visa subclass 187?
As an employer, you apply to nominate your employee and submit various documents to prove that your business is lawfully operating and has a presence in regional Australia. As a result, a business plan comes into play where you would provide all the information that your business is legally operating in Australia.
In the business plan, you will include
- A full description of the business activity
- Description of the products and services to be provided
- Location of the business premises
- List of the skilled occupation list of the employees
You may need to submit:
- Audited Balance sheets
- Profit and Loss Statements for the most recent fiscal year in comparison with previous years.
- Business tax returns and associated tax assessments notices for the recently concluded fiscal year.
- Business Activity Statements (BAS) for each complete quarter from the start to the time of nomination if the business has operated for less than 12 months.
- Bank statements from the start to the time of nominations.
